Many customers visiting the Chocolate Bar in Balnakeil over the past three summers will have been greeted by our rather old brown dog, Stan.
We are very upset to say that Stan was put to sleep yesterday following a stroke. It happened very quickly and he did not suffer.
Happily, he had just enjoyed his third summer (and what a glorious sunny summer) pottering about outside the shop, loving every minute, and wagging his tail at all of our visitors. He was 16 years old.
He will always be remembered.
